EDUCATION ADDENDUM.
For Schools, Universities & Education Settings
1. Purpose of This Addendum
This Education Addendum applies where my services are delivered within schools, universities or education communities, including work with:
children and young people
students
education staff and leadership teams
It should be read in conjunction with my Terms & Conditions, which continue to apply in full.
In the event of any conflict, this Education Addendum takes precedence for education-based delivery.
2. Nature of the Work in Education Settings
My work within education settings is:
educational and preventative
non-clinical and non-therapeutic
human-centred and developmentally appropriate
The work focuses on Strengthening Inner Architecture™ to support:
emotional regulation
self-leadership
confidence and self-trust
learning readiness and executive functioning
future wellness and sustainable peak performance
I do not provide therapy, counselling or mental health treatment within education settings.
3. Roles & Responsibilities
My role
My role is to:
deliver the agreed programme, workshop or facilitation
create a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment
work within professional and ethical boundaries
follow agreed safeguarding procedures
The institution’s role
The education institution remains responsible for:
overall duty of care for students and staff
safeguarding oversight and reporting structures
appropriate supervision and staffing
communication with parents or guardians where required
4. Safeguarding & Duty of Care
I work in alignment with:
my own Safeguarding Policy
the safeguarding policies and procedures of the education institution
Before delivery, the institution will provide:
the name and contact details of the Designated Safeguarding Lead
any relevant safeguarding protocols
If a safeguarding concern arises:
I will follow agreed reporting procedures
confidentiality may be broken where required to protect individuals
5. Confidentiality & Information Sharing
Within education settings:
confidentiality is respected within appropriate professional limits
boundaries around feedback, observation and reporting are agreed in advance
I do not provide individual therapy-style confidentiality to students.
Any disclosures raising safeguarding concerns will be handled appropriately.
6. Delivery Format & Environment
Services may be delivered:
in person, on education premises
in group or workshop formats
to students, staff or mixed cohorts
online where agreed
The institution is responsible for ensuring:
suitable spaces
appropriate supervision
accessibility and safety of the environment
7. Use of Materials
All materials, frameworks and resources provided remain my intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.
Education institutions may:
use materials internally for agreed educational purposes
not reproduce or distribute materials externally without written consent
8. Feedback, Evaluation & Reporting
Where feedback or evaluation is included:
the format and purpose will be agreed in advance
feedback is shared at an appropriate group or institutional level
individual confidentiality is respected
This work is designed to build capacity and culture, not to assess or diagnose individuals.
Any use of feedback, reflections, or case studies arising from educational settings will be agreed in advance with the institution, and no identifying information about students will be shared without explicit written consent.
9. Pausing or Ending Delivery
I reserve the right to pause or stop delivery where:
safeguarding concerns arise
professional boundaries are compromised
delivery conditions are not appropriate
continuation would not serve the wellbeing or safety of those involved
Any such decisions will be communicated promptly and professionally.
10. Acceptance
By engaging my services within an education setting, the institution confirms acceptance of:
